My neighbor has been coming over here for several years to clear out our driveway in the winter. There was also a time where a large branch fell down in my yard and that neighbor cleaned it up. I didn’t even know it had fallen. We also have an 86 year old neighbor and he cleans out her driveway too.
My wife cooks and brings food to this 86 year old neighbor.
I live out in the country. My neighbor who also lives in the country, takes my garbage cans in and out. And when I am sick, she takes care of me.
I was in Office Max the other morning and a pretty little blonde from Fusion was in front of me. She let me go in front of her to check out. Somehow she knew I needed to get to work. I didn’t prompt her. But that pretty little blonde from Fusion was so kind.
I pick up my kids from school each day. One day my daughter noticed a child walking alone. My daughter asked if we could give this child a ride home so that he would not have to walk home in the cold.
I was shopping at Aldi last Thurs. I knew I had $32 to spend, so I asked the cashier to let me know when I was at that level. Anything left unpurchased would have to be returned to the shelf. I ended up at a little over $34. The lady behind me paid the difference so I could have all of my groceries.
The last snowfall my daughter was taking me to the Dr from Guardian Angels by the lake. One of the other residence was also going to the Dr. My daughter was kind enough to clean off the other person’s car and make it easier for her.
My husband and I had a free dinner basket coupon for Culvers that we were not going to use. Since we were driving by Culver’s anyway, we stopped and my husband took it in and found a family standing in line to give the free dinner basket too.
Glenda Gallagher came and took care of my husband for me for a while so that I could get to my grandson’s birthday party.

We received an enormous plate of cookies from the River Center today.
I got my income taxes done for free.
Someone bought me concert tickets.
Someone paid for my feel.
Babysitting.
I have a huge act of kindness to report from the 101 market. My son was going in to the military and I am out of work. He was helping with the bills. I had no money and my car was repossessed. The employees from 101 market and the church came up with the money to get my car out of repo. They also had a fundraiser for us, brought in all kinds of food and needed groceries. Give us gas cards. Gift cards. A fully loaded Christmas tree. They offered me money to go see my son. Gave me a phone card with 1300 phone minutes. That was about 500 random acts of kindness.
I was by Walmart and there was a man standing at the driveway with a sign reading homeless. I rolled down my window and gave him a gift card for Panera Bread and a gift card for Starbucks. I told him to go get a nice hot meal and then a hot cup of coffee. He needed the gift cards more than I did.
my son and I went on a very special date before (he was leaving for a while). We were going to see the movie Avatier at the Elk River Theater. The woman at the theater gave us a special pass and cost me only $2. She knew money was tight for us.
We have many acts of kindness between clients.
One client went to help another client and and pickup Rosella. They traded compliments about beautiful smile and you look so cute today.
Sy helps clients from chair to chair and to spots in the dining room.
Howard brings the Star Tribune paper to us each morning.
All clients greet eachother with Good Morning, have a caring attitude. Guardian Angels is a facility who always helps others.

Inotices an elderly gentleman struggling to open a restroom door while I was walking by. I turned around and asked if he would like my assistance. He seemed appreciative for my help.
I helped a mother with an infant fill her drinks and carry her things to the table. She was in need of a hand since her baby was sound asleep in her arms.

I went to a spin class at Fitness 101 and noticed someone was new and needed help getting their bike set up properly. I walked over and helped get it adjusted and gave her some tips about the class and indoor spinning.
I was walking out of a grocery store and was making haste because I had somewhere to be. On my way out I noticed a small elderly woman with a basket full of groceries having trouble pushing her cart through the exit. I asked if she would like some help loading her groceries into her car. I did that and took my time doing it so that we could chat a little about her cats that she was buying a heavy bag of cat litter for. It felt good to help a random stranger. I got out of myself and took a breather from “my busy, important life” so that I could “stop and smell the roses”.
