Love Elk River is incorporated as a non-profit under the laws of the State of Minnesota. It does not, however, have IRS status as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit.

All funds coming into Love Elk River, either voluntarily donated or solicited, are put into the organization’s general fund and used for operations, administration, special projects, and assistance to individuals and families in the discipleship ministry.

Although funds are from time-to-time donated and solicited due to needs of specific project and assistance to individuals and families, no funds are ever dedicated in Love Elk River’s budget for any specific project or assistance to individuals and families. All funds coming into the organization are available for general use and disbursed according to the direction of the Love Elk River Board of Directors.
